After googling I found inspiration from Vintage Gwen. I think hers is cuter because of that adorable mini pennant garland. Gosh those ever popular pennants make everything better. Anywhoo I thought I would go in the burlap route.
I just cut the burlap to size, hemmed all edges, and free handed the words welcome with cute little cherry blossoms using acrylic paint. I thought it was still missing something so I added a small trim and a poofy flower from left over vintage fabric from this post.
and that was it voila...new garden flag.
aaaand.....since I can never leave well enough alone I thought I would add a cute little bow to those plastic patio pillows. All I did was......
there you go an even happier pillow!
the end.

What a lovely idea for the porch. I can see that I will need to look for some plastic tablecloths soon. And the flag is awesome. I would like to try this for a large flag.
