Frugal Closet Makeover

There always seems to be a point when you look around and say,"Something has to change." Well that moment happened this morning as I was about to change my dolls for the day. When things are untidy or crazy it just makes things that much more frustrating.

This was the madness:

So a few plastic bins from dollar store, free printable labels, and going through clothes they don't wear anymore..this was my result:

For a little decor I displayed a silk jacket my dad bought me when I was little while he was stationed in Japan and I hung some paper doilies I bought in the dollar section at Michael's.

I just used some twine and looped them through the holes of the plastic bins.

My little doll was admiring her new organized closet.

Yes she threw on about 4 tutus as she was playing dressing up:)

On the bottom I put a vintage 60s hamper for their stinkies, a little box for their shoes (from Ikea), and stored all their winter clothes in the large clear bin.

White plastic container and doilies came out to about $6 dollars. Not too shabby:) much better!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Very nice! I totally understand how the mess can make everything seem overwhelming. And the 4 tutus are adorable! Haha :)

  2. Thanks so much! Shes such a silly monkey:)
