In a far away land there once lived an enchanted princess with long beautiful hair.
Her name was..
She had a little friend to keep her company in the forest.

Her name was..
Miss Rapunzel and Mushroom Baby loved to have long talks, sing, and dance:)
Mushroom Baby was very proud of the white spots she grew!
Days were never boring exploring the forest together while making animal friends along the way.
Such a long busy day visiting with Miss Rapunzel and Mushroom Baby. Maybe we will catch a glimpse of them next time in the forest!
See you later:o)

As you may know from previous Halloween posts I loooove making costumes for my dolls.

Big dolly loves the movie Tangled and asked to be Rapunzel this year. Its the first year she requested a costume. Costume was soo easy!
Supplies:
-1 yard purple fabric for skirt ($2)
-Purple Tee for top($2)
-Yellow yarn for hair( $1.77)
-Bushel of faux flowers($1.50)
-Pink ribbon for trim($2)
First I just sewed  a simple skirt with an elastic band(elastic had on hand). Attached the skirt to tee shirt. Sewed vintage lace on hem of skirt and around neck of tee. Made a faux corset with pink ribbon on tee. Yarn Wig was a big time consuming, but found a super easy tutorial here. Then to finish off the look I hot glued the flowers to wig.
Big dolly loved the way turned out and not too shabby for $10!

Little dolly doesn't really seem to care what she wants to be just yet and I thought a little mushroom would be adorable since she such a petite little doll:o)
Supplies:
-1 yard red felt ($2)
-2 squares of white felt(.50)
-1 white tee($3)
-1 pair of white tights($2)
-1 cowgirl hat(free)
-bunches of plastic bags
This was suuuuper easy and found the idea on Family Fun

So happy I finally finished these little costumes and under budget.
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek into the magical forest with Miss Rapunzel and Mushroom Baby:)

Happy Early Halloween!
